Description (About the Job): | The Finance Manager is a strategic thought partner charged with financial management functions. He/she would be responsible for the payments, financial reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, investments, and procurement of the organization. The person will ensure that there are effective internal control systems in place and liaise with other departments to ensure FF adheres to regulatory compliance. |
Duties and Key Responsibilities: | · Provide leadership and support for all financial management areas including payments, financial reporting systems and procedures, budgeting and tax compliance, etc. · Ensuring financial integrity and accountability and maintaining internal controls per regulatory requirements. · Oversee day-to-day cash flow management. · Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements for all clients. · Assist in providing external auditors with all required accounting information and manage GRA Audit issues. · Responsible for Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) and Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) filings. · Manage procurement, upkeep, and tracking of assets, including proper documentation of the procurement in compliance with regulatory standards. · Funds, investment, and cash management by SEC regulations. · Other office management functions. |

Required Experience: | Minimum of 5 years of experience in account and finance management, preferably within the Capital Market operating firm or finance and investment banking industry. |
Required Qualification: | · Must be a member of a recognized professional accounting body. · GISI or CISI Certification is advantageous. · Minimum of 5 years of experience in account and finance management, preferably within the Capital Market operating firm or finance and investment banking industry. · Proven track record of managing financial accounts and financial reporting per SEC requirements and dealing with GRA on all levels. |
Education background: | · Bachelor’s degree in Administration (Accounting). A Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting is preferred. |
